Art at this school is the subject mostly concerned with visual communication, aesthetic sensibilities, sensory perception, emotional and intellectual development, physical competence and critical judgement.   In particular the art curriculum is concerned with:

·        observation and recording of visual images

·        the interpretation of visual images

·        the transformation of materials into images and objects

·        the skills of planning and visualisation

·        the intuitive and logical processes of designing

·        the study of the work of artists, craftspeople and designers
